What’s a “Synod”?

The word “synod” means “same road” and suggests “walking together”. Our Church body is not organized as a hierarchy, but neither are we completely independent, autonomous congregations. Instead, our congregations are organized as a “synod”, a group on a common road.

“Our Risen Savior”… Jesus Christ is truly risen from the dead and he is our living Lord. By his resurrection we are assured we will also rise; the empty tomb sets Christianity apart from every humanly-invented religion. He is our Lord and he is our Savior, the one who rescues us from the curse of sin.

“Changing Lives”… Whose lives? First of all, our own – we want to be changed people, set free from sin and guilt and set free for trusting God and serving our neighbors. But we also know God calls us to change lives in the community where he has placed us. The light of Christ Changes lives.

“By Proclaiming”… Proclaim means to openly and confidently and Repeatedly speak what we know to be true.

Join us for worship every Lord’s Day

Sunday School begins at 9am

Divine Service is at 10:15am

Stay for fellowship and coffee immediately after the service.

Risen Savior Preschool and Childcare

for infant to Pre-Kindergarten children

Risen Savior Lutheran School--Early Learning Center is a place where even our littlest students learn and grow in the love of our Lord. We have a dedicated staff whose first concern is the care of your child. Our program is designed to give your child an opportunity to grow, learn and love in caring and loving environment. We will bring God’s love to all children regardless of race, color and national or ethnic origin. We welcome children of all faiths and will give them an understanding of God’s gift of Grace.

Childcare Hours: Between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Designed for parents that need a full time schedule for their children, infant to Pre-Kindergarten.

Free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Before school and/or after school care is available for our VPK students.
